4/20 Nettle Honey Hoe Down!

Come kick off the weekend in the Lovell Brewery’s Showroom with a Hoe Down featuring Seattle’s, Nettle Honey.  Admission is $5 and it is open to all ages!  A good ol’ fashioned square dance is sure to go down at this hoe down, that is for sure.  Hoe Down food WILL be served-

 

 

Fort George Birthday Weekend!

The Fort George Brewery + Public House is celebrating 5 years of brewing beer and carrying on.  It all starts this Friday with Happy Hour for Higher Ed. in the Taproom from 3-6pm.  Saturday is St. Patricks Day with Porter Dodge Celtic music in the pub, and Sunday is the Birthday Bash.  How does a five year old celebrate their birthday?  With beer!

Friday: Happy Hour for Higher Ed in Taproom.  ($1 from every pint 3-6pm donated to CCC staff fund.)  Cask of Vortex conditioned with raisins and hazelnut agave nectar!

Saturday: The Emerald Pearl Green Tea Pale Ale Release, Porter Dodge Celtic Music @ 8pm.

Sunday:  Fort George Birthday Bash.

The official release of XVIth Chapel: Roses on Roses in 22oz bottles!

Live Music, raffles every hour, cake, scavenger hunt, $1 off pints if you wear Fort George gear.

 

2/23 Sunrise OPA Can Release Party

Thursday February 23rd at Liberty Glass.  7pm-?.  Music by Michael Hurley!

Come hang out at PDX’s longest running Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale tap, the Liberty Glass for a Can Release Party!  Fort George will be hanging out with their go-to OPA cans in hand to celebrate the release of this beer in 16oz pounders just in time for Spring.  Local Astorian Folk mastermind, Michael Hurley, will be hanging out playing music and there will be Fort George specials all night.  If you’ve never been to Liberty Glass, it’s the awesome pink house on the corner of Mississippi, just off of Interstate.  Directions to “Big Pink” below.
