Tender Loving Empire Northwest Pale Ale is the first of Fort George Brewery’s limited release canned seasonal beers and a collaboration that honors the flavor and sound of the Northwest. The release of Tender Loving Empire NWPA was marked with the video premier of “Sea Shanty II” by Tender Loving Empire band Typhoon. And now, the next in this series – another amazing TLE band, Y La Bamba, performing “Oh February” on the banks of the Columbia and Willamette River confluence.
This video premier will be followed by two more music video releases, shot on location along the Columbia River and following a path to the source of the oh-so-delicious Tender Loving Empire NWPA. Stay tuned.
Winners have been chosen and the mouth watering menu is in! The Fort George Homebrewer’s Bacon Dinner is Saturday April 20th, 2013 from 6pm – 9pm. Tickets are $65 or $120 for a pair and can be purchased in the pub, over the phone by calling 503.325.7468, or online.

Fort George Brewery and Tender Loving Empire present, for a limited time only, Tender Loving Empire Northwest Pale Ale (NWPA) and to celebrate, the release of Typhoon “Sea Shanty II”. Tender Loving Empire NWPA glows with a tangerine hue, emanating harmonies of citrus and notes of pine. Open a can, kick back and enjoy the spirit, flavor and sound of the Northwest.
Tender Loving Empire, our collaborator, synchronizes a well-known record label* with a silk-screening studio and a handmade craft and music store in downtown Portland. Typhoon “Sea Shanty II”, filmed in Portland along the Willamette River, will be followed by three more video releases, each featuring a Tender Loving Empire band and filmed along the watershed from the Willamette River to Columbia River in Astoria and in Fort George Brewery itself.
We will soon announce details about release parties in Astoria and Portland, which will culminate at Bunk Bar on May 4th. Fort George Tender Loving Empire NWPA will be available wherever fine beers are sold and in select bars around Astoria, Portland and Seattle starting immediately.
